The popular ring announcer also announced on Instagram that she got the honor of announcing Cena in his last match against Gunther on the December 13 episode of SNME. Lilian appeared in an interview with TVInsider, where she remembered Cena's days as 'The Prototype'.

"I cannot wait. When I found out his final match was going to be during Saturday Night’s Main Event, I was like, ‘That’s the show I announce!’ It’s actually kind of fitting because I announced him even before he was John Cena," Garcia noted in the interview.

She remembered the first instance of seeing Cena as the Prototype and added that the crew members introduced him. Lilian claimed that she was impressed with Cena's look right from the word go. Lilian added that she noted Cena's stats and believed he would be special.

"He was ‘The Prototype.’ It was a live event. I’ll never forget it. I hadn’t seen him backstage yet. The crew explained to me that he is the new guy and gave me all his stats. I just remember as soon as I said, ‘The Prototype,’ and he came through the curtain, I was like, ‘Wow, that’s a look.’ He came off special right from the beginning," Garcia added.
