The LDLC arena in France is gearing up for the upcoming PPV event of WWE. The Backlash 2024 is set to be hosted by Europe's stadium in France. It will be the first major PPV event in Europe since the Money in the Bank in 2023. The official handle of the Stadium took to X and posted arrangements they are having for the event later this week.

As the weekend is set and is full of major WWE events, the stadium is getting its ring and other arrangements. Before the PPV event, Friday Night Smackdown is also set to take place at the same venue. Hence, in the official footage, the hoarding of the blue brand was visible. The video of the arrangements has gone viral as the fans are sharing it on the internet.

Backlash is one of the major PPV events in a calendar year of WWE. Some of the best matches in the past have taken place in the event. A couple of matches of The Undertaker like the ones against Hulk Hogan and  Edge are the ones to be remembered. This year, the fans are expecting the event to produce matches of similar hype.

Matches scheduled for Backlash 2024

Some of the major titles will be defended in the event. Cody Rhodes will be having his maiden title defence against AJ Styles, who beat LA Knight to be the number one contender for the match. Likewise, Damian Priest will be having his maiden title defence against Jey Uso, who won the fatal 4-way match on Raw to face Priest. Some other high-profile belts will be up for grabs.

The women's tag team champions Asuka and Kairi Sane will defend their titles against Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. The WWE Women's Championship will be on the line as Bayley will defend her title against Tiffany Stratton and Naomi in a triple-threat match. The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga will have a match against Kevin Owens and Randy Orton, which happens to be the only non-title match.
