'He might be a better athlete than Brock Lesnar' - Kurt Angle speaks about fellow Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson moving to NFL

Kurt Angle recently spoke about Gable Steveson joining the Buffalo Bills. The former Raw GM claimed that he wasn't surprised by the move given how talented he was. The star wrestler compared Gable to Brock Lesnar and made a huge claim. He felt Steveson might even be a better athlete than the beast and felt it was difficult to pick one among the two.

"You think Brock Lesnar is an athlete? This kid might be a better athlete than Brock Lesnar. That's very difficult for me to say," said Angle in the interview. The WWE Hall of Famer who saw Gable wrestle felt he was diverse, very quick, and athletic. Kurt noted that the former NXT star could do backflips just by standing in his position.

"He’s so diverse. He’s fast. He’s athletic. I’ve seen him do backflips just standing there," added Kurt in the interview. The former TNA star spoke about his meeting with the star wrestler. Angle claimed that he wished Gable luck which was an 'Angle' thing to say. "What an a**le thing to say.' I told him good luck," added Kurt in the interview.

Kurt Angle and Gable Steveson's triumph in the Olympics

Gable Steveson and Kurt Angle are wrestlers who have chosen different paths in their careers. While Kurt won the gold medal in the Atlanta Olympics in 1996, Gable won the gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. Both of them achieved glory despite being injured. Both of them chose WWE as a career option after their massive success in the Olympics.

However, Kurt remained a wrestler throughout his career. On the other hand, Steveson is making a move to the NFL. He is having a similar career to that of Brock though nothing comparable in their career at WWE. Brock is reported to return to WWE shortly after being out of action for nearly a year. The fans are waiting to see his comeback.
