The Rock hasn't been on WWE TV since Elimination Chamber 2025, but a former WWE star, Jonathan Coachman, claims that this summer could be the time. Since then, the Final Boss has not been in WWE, but the Cenation Leader made history by defeating The American Nightmare at WrestleMania 41 to claim his unprecedented 17th World Title.
The Rock is anticipated to make a comeback and run into John Cena before the end of the summer, according to a source that Jonathan Coachman revealed on The Coach & Bro Show. During the show, he said, "On top of that, I have it on good authority. Who hasn't we (sic) seen? Who's been taking all of the stray bullets when it comes to, 'Oh, you threw Triple H under the bus? You're nowhere to be found.' Who is that? The Rock. And I have it on good authority that Cena and The Rock will cross paths in one way or another by the end of the summer."
John Cena turned heel at Elimination Chamber, as he refused to join The Rock’s offer. Following that, Cena attacked Cody Rhodes and joined The Rock, which was shocking for WWE fans. A huge tag bout later this summer may be built up by Cena's conflicted appearance following his victory against Randy Orton for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Backlash, Coachman further revealed.
The Rock set to return soon on WWE
Till the end of August, the Cenation Leader will work in all major events of WWE, like SummerSlam, Money in the Bank, Clash in Paris, and Saturday Night's Main Event. However, the door is still open for The Rock to return at one of those events and be on the side of Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena. This gives The Rock a chance to show up again with Cena, but WWE has not given any hint of his return in the upcoming months.
