WATCH: 'I couldn't say no to Rhea' - Jey Uso on joining forces with Damian Priest against Judgement Day on WWE Raw

Jey Uso had a backstage conversation with Damian Priest and explained why he joined forces with the latter against Judgement Day on WWE Raw. The duo is set to headline the main event of the night in a tag team match against JD McDonagh and Finn Balor. However, it was not a reality unless Mami requested Jey to join forces with Priest.

Earlier in the night, Liv Morgan and Dirty Dom attacked Mami's leg and injured her badly. Priest saved Mami from being damaged further and took her back to the locker room where she got the treatment. However, there was no surety about his match with JD and Finn as he did not have a partner. Mami had a plan for Damian and revealed it.

The former world champion claimed that she would convince Jey Uso to team up with Priest. It indeed turned out to be true as she convinced Jey to take on Judgement Day. Damian asked Mami for an update on it. When asked if Jey said 'Yes' or 'No', Mami replied saying Jey said "Yeet" claiming that the former tag team champion accepted the proposal.

The fans chanted "Yeet" as Mami pulled out 'Yeet'. Jey further had a bit of a verbal faceoff with Bron Breakker backstage on Raw. During the segment, the dup had a stare at each other before Jey realized that he had the match with Damian against JD and Finn. The talented wrestler prepared for it being being confronted by Damian Priest. The latter was surprised by it and asked Jey if he agreed to it.

The younger Uso was indeed up for it. Priest reminded him of the past and asked how he was still able to team up with him. Jey said he let the past be past and added that he could not refuse the offer as it came from Rhea. The duo joined forces to take on JD and Finn in the main event. Jey could have an interesting story with Mami and Damian.
