Jelly Roll blasted those who claim Wrestling to be fake after putting in the hard yards in the WWE Performance Center for his SummerSlam 2025 match with Randy Orton against Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre. "Listen, man, that wrestling is fake stuff, gotta go out the door. There’s no fake way to land on a piece of plywood in front of 60,000 people. There’s no fake way to go over a cable rope in front of 65,000 people. I broke my pinky in week one of training by accident. It’s a constant collision," said Jelly Roll in the Get Up ESPN Show.

Roll is set to team up with Randy Orton to take on Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre in a tag team match. In the buildup to it, Roll has been promoting his matches by showing up on interviews and podcasts. Before Friday Night SmackDown, Logan and Drew attacked Roll, who was practising in the PC in Randy's absence. Randy and Roll gave it back to the duo on the blue brand.

"I dedicated my whole life to it for a couple of months, and I still can’t crack half the code, a quarter of the code," - Jelly Roll

In one such show in the 'Get Up ESPN Show', Roll claimed that the wrestlers go through hell and noted he understood the hard yards they put in as a fan. However, he claimed to have experienced what it takes to be a wrestler and added he could not even learn a quarter of the code despite dedicating two months to it.

"These men and women put their bodies through hell. I knew it, and I’m a real fan, that’s how I ended up here, but I really understand it now that I’ve gone in there. I dedicated my whole life to it for a couple of months, and I still can’t crack half the code, a quarter of the code, that actually is this thing," Jelly Roll added in his statement.
