It's official: Bobby Lashley is no more with WWE, currently free agent

Bobby Lashley is officially a free agent. WWE updated its current roster recently which excluded the Almighty from their division. It has confirmed the fact that Lashley could make a move to a different Wrestling promotion. It was in the expected lines as Bobby was injured for a long time and was being underused in the current stories in WWE.

Bobby Lashley could be one of the biggest free agents in the Wrestling world currently. The former world champion was at his prime in the Ruthless Aggression Era and in the period after the pandemic in WWE. Back in the period, the Stamford-based company used him well. But in the last few months, there was no big role assigned to the Almighty.

Lashley acted as a manager to the Street Profits duo of Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford. His gimmick as someone purely professional and who had no intention of doing anything other than earn money did not earn the attention of the fans. Hence, the faction could not do as well as one would have liked. It meant that Bobby lost his appeal among the fans.

Injury costs Bobby Lashley

WWE could have probably got Bobby to have a solo run in a different story. But before that could happen, Lashley sustained a shoulder injury. In the qualifier match for the world title against Cody Rhodes at Backlash 2024, Bobby sustained a shoulder injury. It forced him to withdraw his name from the King of the Ring tournament. Angelo Dawkins ended up being his replacement in the tournament.

Since then, Lashley has been out of action in WWE. A few weeks ago, reports emerged about Lashley being considered to be left out by WWE. The latest action from the company has confirmed the fact that Lashley would not be in action. The fans claimed that Triple H and Co might have considered a big blunder considering the appeal of the Almighty.
