Is WWE doing TNA dirty in their partnership?

WWE seems to have an upper hand in their partnership with TNA. Since 2024, there have been many instances where WWE was booked to win in major aspects in their collaboration with TNA. It seems as if WWE's NXT stars have gained the highest from the partnership, as many of them have beaten the TNA stars in their feud and even won titles.

The current TNA world champions in men's and women's divisions are Trick Williams and Jacy Jayne, respectively, both of whom are WWE NXT stars. Trick beat Joe Hendry to become the TNA World Champ, while the Fatal Influence's Jayne beat Masha Slamovich to become the TNA Women's World Champion. In fact, many top WWE NXT stars have claimed major wins against TNA stars.

Moose faced Oba Femi earlier in 2025 in what was termed to be one of the dream Wrestling matches. Oba went on to beat the mighty wrestler to defend his title. None of the TNA wrestlers have claimed a significant win over a WWE NXT star in their collaboration so far, which tells how they are booked.

Is Joe Hendry booked badly in his WWE appearances?

One of the biggest concerns is the way Hendry has been booked. Despite being the most 'over' star and capable of receiving good reaction from the WWE fans, the former TNA world champion hasn't been booked well. In the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania, Hendry did get a chance to appear.

However, his Royal Rumble appearance lasted for a little over a couple of minutes. At WrestleMania, Hendry was humiliated by Randy Orton, whose match could've been easily booked better. While all sides have claimed that it is a long term storytelling, at some point, the TNA stars must win so that the partnership looks even.
