Roman Reigns has been taken out by the new Bloodline in the latest episode of Smackdown. The OTC was dominant against the duo of Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga. But as soon as Jacob Fatu returned from injury, Roman's gas fell off. Jacob managed to dominate the OTC which helped Solo and Tama Tonga to later attack him to end the night on a high.

The segment started with Solo asking Roman Reigns to challenge him for the Ula Fala. The OTC entered the arena with a loud cheer from the fans. The duo wasted no time attacking each other. Roman delivered a Superman punch and speared Solo. He later took out Tama Tonga and wore the Ula Fala momentarily. That was when Jacob Fatu entered the arena.

Returning from the injury, the star wrestler singlehandedly took out Roman. He allowed Solo and Tonga to return to their senses. Later on, the trio took out Roman by delivering a triple powerbomb through the table. It could mean that the OTC is written off TV for the next few weeks. There might be a reason behind writing Roman off TV.

Why Roman Reigns could be written off TV?

The Head of the Table is not at his fittest version anymore. Back in the mid-2010s, he was athletic and could pull off insane stuff. Age seems to be catching up quickly with the star and Leukemia does not help him either. More importantly, WWE confirmed his presence in the blue brand for just two weeks. There might have been no plan for him in the next two weeks.

More importantly, Roman has to address the passing away of Afa Anoa'i. In the last few months, the Samoan Family has lost two of its pillars Sika and Afa. Roman probably needs to be with his family in these difficult times. Hence, he might be away from action in the next few weeks. There is a chance of him returning with Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman.
