Brock Lesnar's contract with the promotion continues to remain active, even though he did not participate in battle at WWE WrestleMania 40 on Saturday. Notably, Lesnar, who remains one of the best superstars in the WWE, did not attend the Saturday event and isn't expected to make an appearance at WrestleMania. However, Triple H answered questions concerning Lesnar's position in the WWE during the post-WrestleMania 40 press conference on Saturday.
Brock Lesnar hasn't been seen in the WWE since losing to Cody Rhodes in the main event at WWE SummerSlam 2023. Notably, Brock Lesnar was scheduled to make a comeback at the WWE Royal Rumble. However, the plans were put off when Lesnar was connected to the lawsuit against Vince McMahon for sexual misconduct and trafficking. Lesnar was allegedly scheduled to face someone at WrestleMania 40; however, this plan was also abandoned.
Meanwhile, is Brock Lesnar still under contract? Triple H was asked this question at the WWE WrestleMania 40 press conference. Moreover, he was also questioned about the likelihood of Lesnar making a comeback earlier rather than later, including regarding WWE Royal Rumble 2024. There is currently not much knowledge available on Brock Lesnar's return to WWE programming.
Right now, Brock Lesnar is home, being Brock, and we’ll see where that leads to from here: Triple H
Meanwhile, Lesnar was mentioned in Janel Grant's explosive lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE. Grant alleges in her complaint that she was sent to a former UFC heavyweight champion, possibly Lesnarby, by way of trafficking. However, the former Universal Champion of the WWE hasn't made any public comments on the situation.
“At one point, there was a conversation with Brock about Royal Rumble, but a long time ago,” Triple H said at the WWE WrestleMania 40 press conference.
“Right now, Brock is home, being Brock, and we’ll see where that leads from here. His status is the same as it’s been before. Brock is not gone from WWE. He’s just home being Brock,” he added further.
