Although Randy Orton turned 45 recently, he may still have a lot of time left in the WWE. Although "The Viper" has suffered several injuries during his career, the most serious one occurred only a few years ago. Orton's career was extended after undergoing serious back surgery that may have stopped him from wrestling.
Speaking to Complex on his future with the company, the future WWE Hall of Famer mentioned that he had inked a new five-year contract. "I'd love to sign another five-year contract after that. I know realistically, there's gonna be a day when I gotta stop. But it's like, I don't even think about that because I'm having so much f***ing fun right now."
The injuries kept Randy Orton out of action for about a year and a half, and at first, doctors said he would never be able to wrestle again. However, he was able to fully heal and gain more muscle through a painstaking process, and he was ultimately allowed to start rehabbing at the WWE Performance Center.
Randy Orton to miss WrestleMania 41
WWE is getting ready for its biggest event which is WrestleMania 41. Ahead of WrestleMania 41 had to withdraw due to a severe neck injury, Orton declined and suggested a match at WrestleMania 41, which was ultimately called off once it was verified. However, as he just disclosed in an interview with Complex, Orton has sympathy for Owens behind the scenes.
Additionally, Orton disclosed that he had arranged for Kevin Owens to get a second opinion from a surgeon with whom he had previously teamed up. For the time being, he is telling Owens to put his family's needs first and to get in touch if he ever needs someone to talk to. The Viper is familiar with this scenario, having experienced the difficulties that come with serious injuries and difficult personal struggles. The WWE's biggest PLE will take place on 19 and 20 April in Las Vegas.
