'I remember crying as a kid' - Dirty Dom recalls hearing news of Eddie Guerrero passing away (Source: Google)
Dominik Mysterio opened up on hearing the news of Eddie Guerrero passing away when he was a kid. Dirty Dom claimed that he cried as a kid knowing he would never be able to see Eddie again. The Judgement Day star claimed that he appreciates Guerrero's work and felt grateful to have worked with him on a story.
Dom remembered that he was young when the incident happened. He claimed to hide emotions within himself. However, Dom said that the video of Eddie Guerrero passing away made him cry as a kid. Dom said he remembered the good times he had with the former world champion when he and Rey were involved in a story.
"So I remember when we were watching at home when Eddie had passed, and the video package that they played with the Three Doors Down song, and I just remember crying as a kid watching this," said Dom. The Judgement Day star claimed that he was sad as he could not see Eddei again.
"Remembering him, and just what he had done with me, and just everything that like we had gone through and that angle, you know? So I remember that as a wrestling fan because I knew I wasn't gonna see him again," added Dom in his statement.
Dominik was in a story with Eddie and Rey Mysterio where the former world champion claimed himself to be the real father of Dirty Dom. The star wrestler felt he appreciated Guerrero's work more than he did in the past. The Judgement Day star concluded saying he was grateful for getting a chance to work with Eddie in a story.
"I get to appreciate his work so much more now. Because I'm living through it, trying to honor it, and just looking at his matches and seeing how good he was. It makes me appreciate so much more the time I did get to spend with him," concluded Dom as he remembered Eddie in a fond way.
