Gunther gave a CM Punk reference in his backstage segment with Ludwig Kaiser on WWE Raw. The world champion asked Ludwig to look into his eyes and let him know what he saw. The star wrestler wanted to know if Kaiser saw the fire of the Ring General in his eyes. It was evident that the Ring General was doubting himself following the promo with Damian Priest last week.
Gunther is set to take on Priest for the world title. It looks like what Damian had to say last week has been stored in Gunther's brain well. He has started to doubt himself after not being able to answer Damian. The star wrestler had a backstage segment with Kaiser.

The Imperium member asked Gunther when he didn't let him talk to Damian last week on Raw. Gunther said he wanted Ludwig to mind his business and let him get his job done. While Ludwig agreed to it, Gunther asked him to genuinely tell if he still saw the burning fire in the Ring General's eyes.
Damian Priest's warning to Gunther on WWE Raw
Ludwig had no doubt that Gunther was still the threatening force he always was. However, it seemed like the star wrestler was not convinced with Ludwig's opinion. He went straight to Damian who was signing some merchandise backstage in Raw. The Ring General tried to attack the former Judgement Day star.
However, it backfired, as Priest retaliated and took out Gunther in the process. He sent a big message to his opponent. Damian said that Gunther might be a General in the ring, but he was the King on the streets. Adam Pearce entered the scene and wondered what happened.
Damian said nothing had happened between the two and assured them that they were just having a bit of conversation. The segment showed that Damian had clearly gotten into Gunther's head. The Imperium star might need a bit of thinking to do before he takes on Priest to defend his world title.
