Finn Balor names two massive stars as his dream opponents

Finn Balor spoke about his dream opponents in a recent show. The Judgement Day star recalled about his prime days when he wrestled the top stars of the company. He was in the same hangover and felt the mighty duo of Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar to be his dream opponents. With both Roman and Brock, Finn wrestled for a brief period in the past.

"I’d love to go with Brock again and I’d love another run with Roman Reigns," Balor said on 'What's the Story'. The Judgement Day star felt that the feud he had with Brock was incomplete. He claimed their feud was to last for 3-4 months but changed due to the return of Reigns. Finn claimed that one thing could change everything in a company like WWE.

"That was supposed to be like a three or four-month program. I think it only ended up being like six weeks. Like earlier we were saying, when one thing changes, it affects everything," added Balor in the show. A few weeks back on Raw, the 42-year-old won the tag team championship with JD McDonagh. In the second half of 2023 and the first 100 days of 2024, Finn was a tag team champion with Damian Priest.

In the show, Finn spoke about the opponents who he would love to face in the current rosters. The star wrestler felt it would be great to face someone like Gunther, Ilja Dragunov, and the Creed brothers on Raw. Among them, Finn has faced only Dragunov during their NXT days. That was not a long feud either and Balor wished to have a slightly long feud with the Czar of WWE.

He gave a spoiler about the future where he could face Judgement Day members like Damain Priest and JD McDonagh. Balor additionally wished to face Trick Williams of NXT. From Smackdown, the former world champion hoped to face Kevin Owens. It was against KO that Balor won his maiden NXT title in 2015. Finn recently re-signed a contract with WWE for 5 years.
