Edge had earlier reacted to Cena giving him tribute in one of the interviews. However, at AEW All Out, he repaid it by using 5 moves of doom along with 'You can't see me', which the fans chanted along to acknowledge one of the greatest Wrestling Superstars of all time.

Adam Copeland delivered an Attitude Adjustment and went for a pinfall. However, the one-half of the FTR kicked out at two to stay alive in the match. It was a good way to express mutual love and admiration by the Canadian wrestler to arguably his greatest rival. Despite both being on the rival promotions, they did not hesitate to revisit their feud in their own ways.

How John Cena paid tribute to Edge on WWE SmackDown?

In his last appearance on WWE SmackDown in Chicago, Cena was challenged by Sami Zayn for the US Title. The match was great and Cena paid homage to some of his greatest rivals like CM Punk, Kurt Angle, Kevin Owens, JBL, Edge, and others.

The notable among them was Cena spearing Sami, which Michael Cole in the commetary box misinterpreted to be that of Roman Reigns. Cena took to Instagram and posted Edge's image to clarify that it was a homage to the Rated R Superstar. Copeland could've been a part of Cena's retirement tour if he was in WWE.
