Drew McIntyre takes funny dig at Tama Tonga's antics

Drew McIntyre has reacted to Tama Tonga's antics on the latest episode of Smackdown. Tonga was to face LA Knight in the quarterfinal match of the King of the Ring. Before the match, Tama was fired up and let out unique sounds almost like that of tribal people. It showed the full involvement of the MFT of the Bloodline in his character. The segment had a funny take from the fans and from Drew.

The Scottish Warrior took to X and claimed that he acted so as all the wrestlers in the locker room agreed to not feed him after 8 PM. "I thought we all agreed not to feed Tama after 8pm?" wrote Drew as he took a funny dig at the Bloodline member. The tweet of McIntyre has gone viral on X and other social media platform among the fans.

Some of them feel that McIntyre has been doing great job as a heel. Some feel that the change in character has not just improved the mic skills of the Scottish but also his cheekiness. It is not the first instance of Drew taking a dig at individuals. He has done with other wrestlers like Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Sheamus, and others.

Tama Tonga vs Randy Orton in the semifinal

In the King of the Ring 2024 tournament, Tonga has been having a good run. In the first round, he overcame a tough challenge from Angelo Dawkins who replaced Bobby Lashley. In the second round, the MFT of the Bloodline managed to stay alive by beating LA Knight. With some assistance from Solo Sikoa and Tonga Loa, Tama has entered the semifinal.

In the big match in the upcoming week, Tonga will be up against Randy Orton. The duo share a history with each other in the last month. In the Backlash 2024, Tonga and Sikoa beat Randy and Kevin Owens in the street fight. A week after it on the blue brand, Orton issued a warning to Tama. The rivalry between the two will have a major turnout on Smackdown next week.
