Right now, Drew McIntyre and CM Punk are involved in one of the most interesting plots in the WWE. The two guys will engage in combat this coming weekend in a strap match; to win, they must touch each of the four ring corners while linked together by rope. Both of them have some expertise in that field, but Punk is seeking retribution for losing at SummerSlam when he set his sights on the friendship bracelet with the names of his wife, AJ Mendez (a former WWE wrestler), and their dog, Larry.
During an interview with McIntyre at a press junket for The Killer's Game, which is based on the book by Jay R. Bonansinga, before that match. In the interview, he talked about his involvement in the film. Terry Crews, Sofia Boutella, and future WWE Hall of Famer Dave Bautista are his co-stars. When asked what he intends to do with the bracelet, McIntyre replies that while he has considered tearing it apart, he enjoys torturing CM Punk far more.
"I carry it everywhere I go. What will I do with it? I don't know, I play around thinking I could break it, but it would be too simple. that's funny how much emotional pain and anguish that gives him. Regarding something that, to me, is simply a piece of garbage, McIntyre remarked. "After removing Punk from the ring and having surgery on my arm, I want to frame it and place it in a lovely tiny glass frame in appreciation for all the high fives I received along the way,” Drew McIntyre stated.
