Drew McIntyre faked his quitting WWE. As he claimed to quit the company on Raw, many thought it could be true. But the Scottish Warrior let out lies, as he surprised the second city saint in his own backyard. It was the best way in which Drew could avenge the screwjob he sustained at the Clash at the Castle in Glasgow.

Punk cost Drew the world title in his own backyard and ran away without getting troubled. McIntyre spoiled the home return of the cult of personality in his own backyard and walked out without getting troubled. It's like tit for tat. As Grayson Waller was preparing for the Money in the Bank qualifier match, the host asked for an interview from him. He was confronted by the DIY duo.

That was when someone seemed to be knocking the door of the arena. When they opened, it was Drew who had taken out Punk for life. The 3-time world champion carried Punk to the entrance side and laid him down. Drew sat in the iconic style like CM Punk does and paid back to the crowd. The security guards and Nick Aldis came to the arena to address the issue.

CM Punk taken out through stretcher

As the Smackdown GM condemned the act of Drew, he received a dab from the former world champion. The security guards came to look for the hometown man. They took out the voice of the voiceless through a stretcher. It seemed like McIntyre wanted the second city saint to know how it feels to be screwed at one's home. The fans were initially happy to see McIntyre.

But as soon as they saw Punk being taken out, there was a series of booes. Punk was later carried out of the arena through an ambulance. The commentators explained why Drew did what he did. Will punk be out of acton further for a fair period of time? Only time would tell that. The fans are hoping to see him back in action soon.
