Dirty Dom pulled off an Eddie Guerrero at SummerSlam by betraying Rhea Ripley. The kayfabe son of Eddie did something that was done by his father in the Attitude Era. In the past, Eddie had a love story with Chayna and broke her heart, Dom pulled off a similar story as he broke the heart of Mami whom she loved once.

In 2022, Mami promised to make Dirty Dom a man. Since then, the duo has been hanging out on Judgement Day. But since Liv Morgan came, everything has been going on downhill for Mami. She took away three months of her career, took away the world title, and finally grabbed Dom out of her hands to complete the revenge tour.

The ultimate betrayal by Dominik came in the form of kissing Liv Morgan which ended the relationship between him and Mami. It was similar to what Eddie did in his days. He was in love with Chayna for some time. But in one of the episodes on Raw, Eddie was caught hanging out with a few girls. Chayna could not control the betrayal.

Will the betrayal help Dirty Dom become a top heel?

Back then, Guerrero tried to console Chayna and faked his apology. When Chayna was not ready to believe what he had to say, Eddie showed his true colours and revealed that he was not in love with her. It broke the heart of Chayna. The story between the two helped the career of Eddie Guerrero which established him as a top heel.

On the other hand, Dom faked his apology to Mami. Since Rhea's return on Raw, Dom tried to apologize to Mami. When she did accept the apology, Dom betrayed and broke her heart by kissing Liv. It is to be seen how well it would help the career of Dom establish his career as a heel similar to how his kayfabe father had back in time.
