Cody Rhodes wants to know if Roman Reigns would have his word at Bad Blood

Cody Rhodes took to X and reacted to his segment with Roman Reigns in the Atlanta Stadium. On Smackdown, the segment between Cody and Roman was played on the big screen. The major talking point of the segment was Cody asking Roman to have his back at Bad Blood. Cody wondered if Roman would be living up to his word in the PLE.

"Let’s see if you’re a man of your word, @WWERomanReigns," wrote Cody Rhodes on X. The sequence between Cody and Roman was great as the BGM and the camera work gave the much-needed buildup to the duo. Both Cody and Roman dug into their past and recalled how they had been up against each other.

Cody reminded Roman Reigns that he had mentioned the stage he would be in, in the past. In one of the past segments ahead of WrestleMania XL, Cody claimed that Roman would be a king without his subjects. He had added that Roman would be a Tribal Chief without his tribes.

Will Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns get on the same page?

As it turned out, Cody's prediction came true. Roman did not want to hear it and went straight to the point. He asked what Cody wanted from him. The American Nightmare asked for a word from Roman. He asked the OTC to have his back in their match against Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa at Bad Blood.

Roman gave his word but claimed that after being done with the Bloodline, he would come after the world title. It looks like the duo will have a longer feud in the future. For now, the focus of Cody and Roman would be to win the match at Bad Blood.

Last week on Smackdown, Cody and Roman signed a contract to take on Solo and Jacob at Bad Blood. The unlikely union was set as the fans went crazy. Two of the biggest stars of the company would be hoping to stand tall in the upcoming PLE. It will be a matter of pride for the duo.
