Cody Rhodes explains Randy Orton reason behind teaming up with Roman Reigns at Bad Blood

Randy Orton returned to Smackdown for the first time since Summerslam. He wanted to ask Cody Rhodes the reason behind teaming up with Roman Reigns at Bad Blood to take on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Cody said he wanted to end the new Bloodline once and for all. He claimed having Roman's word meant he could take on the Bloodline.

Randy Orton returned to Smackdown and got a thunderous reception. While he was happy to be in the arena that loved him, Randy was in the blue brand on a purpose. He wanted to ask an explanation from Cody regarding his decision. He hence asked Rhodes to get to the ring and owe an explanation.

Cody Rhodes entered the arena to a loud pop from the fans. He cut the chase and got straight into the point. The American Nightmare felt the need to end the new Bloodline once and for all. He said Roman and him were on the same page in the regard.

Hence, Rhodes claimed he got a word from Roman Reigns to have his back so that he could have his. The world champion regarded it to be a big deal having known him for a long time. Moreover, Cody believed it was bettter to retaliate than to remain silent on being attacked.

As Cody hoped Randy had no problem with it, the latter confirmed he didn't have any problem with it unless he brought it upon himself. In walked Kevin Owens who could not speak as the Bloodline entered right behind him. Solo Sikoa addressed the trio and gave his theory of Cody teaming up with Roman.

Solo felt it was good for Cody to trust Roman as he needed it. The new Tribal Chief claimed Roman could be a better bet for him than Randy or Kevin who had always battles against the bloodline. It led to a tag team match between Randy and KO against Solo and Jacob in the main event of the night.
