For many of the superstars who have been a part of the WWE, a professional wrestler's entrance is a significant moment in their career. Prominent figures like the Undertaker, John Cena, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and the Rock have all had iconic entrances into the squared circle. In previous times, Roman Reigns has been known to take his time getting to the squared circle, but by a strange turn of events, the reigning Universal Champion made quick work of Crown Jewel.

Roman Reigns, the undisputed WWE Universal Champion with Paul Heyman, made his entrance, but it was cut short as LA Knight, escorted by SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, walked by him to make his entrance before their contract signing. LA Knight added that Reigns would transfer the championship to him as soon as he signed the agreement.

Watch here the video:

In the end, Reigns prevailed against LA Knight to hold onto the title and carry on with his reign as Universal Champion. In the most recent pay-per-view event, Roman's one-on-one match against Knight included some vicious techniques from Roman. Though it wasn't a "blink and you'll miss it affair," Reigns' most recent entrance was a little bit shorter than many of his previous appearances. This time, Roman Reigns' entrance lasted three minutes and fifty-nine seconds. Paul Heyman was there to support the Tribal Chief once more as he cemented his place as the top contender on the World Wrestling Entertainment roster.

Roman Reigns and LA Knight's encounter was quite long as they battled for the title

There was no love lost between the two opponents before their encounter at this year's Crown Jewel. Roman Reigns even went so far as to compare LA Knight to a "redneck version of his cousin," the Rock, on this week's Smackdown. Then Roman said, "There have been a lot of changes around here. I anticipate someone to step up while I take my time leaving, but I never imagined it would be you. However, you took some action to get these people's notice. You've got everyone on your side and have made good use of your time. You deserve praise for that. Go ahead and sing his name; it's not easy in this day and age."

Even though Roman entered the ring earlier than normal, Reigns and LA Knight's encounter was quite long as they battled for the title. Sadly, Knight will not be taking the Universal Championship with him when he leaves Saudi Arabia. LA Knight added that Reigns would transfer the championship to him as soon as he signed the agreement.
