During the discussion, the Undisputed Champion also disclosed his plans for his retirement. In an interview with the Flagrant Podcast from in-ring combat. During the first-ever Crown Jewel championship in the Saudi Arabia PLE, Cody Rhodes competed against WWE Heavyweight Champion Gunther for the title and won the first-ever Crown Jewel.

On this week's Friday Night SmackDown, the American Nightmare will also join forces with Randy Orton to battle the Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser team. Akash Singh and comedian Andrew Schulz recently spoke with The American Nightmare on a variety of topics, including his feud with Roman Reigns, the Vince McMahon Netflix documentary, and completing his father's legacy.

Cody Rhodes is at the height of his career and is still relatively youthful in comparison to his professional wrestling contemporaries. The Undisputed champion is already preparing for retirement despite these honours, which include serving as the company's spokesperson. When questioned about how long he thinks he can stay in WWE and wrestling, Cody gave his opinion. "I don't know if the answer would have been different if we'd been drinking.

I feel like I'm 39 now, I feel like I can go full-time, 100 per cent, and be the best, be at my best, and be the standard, until 45." The American Nightmare also disclosed that he wants to spend time with his daughter after retiring and that his family and daughter come first. "I don't know what I've put that number in my mind. I have a three-year-old daughter" Cody Rhodes said as per Khel Now.

Cody Rhodes to take a backstage position

Additionally, Cody mentioned that Dusty Rhodes, his father, was an "old man wrestler." Cody wanted to remember Dusty in a different light since he detested seeing him in his 60s when he wrestled his final match. Cody does not wish to be known as a shadow of his former self. After finding it difficult to wrestle with his boys, Dusty pulled it quits, and Cody didn't want to remain too long. After he finishes wrestling, Cody stated that he will think about taking on a managerial or backstage position in the WWE.
