WWE Superstar CM Punk has recently revealed an interesting story about his altercation with Jungle Boy Jack Perry. Notably, Jack Perry took shots at CM Punk back in AEW AII in 2023 when he went on to perform the hook on a car. However, after the game, both star players got into some trouble.
Meanwhile, Jack Perry was fired from AEW, and CM Punk was fired. Later, Punk returned to the WWE, and Perry, whose future with the All Elite company is in doubt, now works in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
Meanwhile, during a chat with Ariel Helwani on MMA Hour, CM Punk spoke about an all-in backstage incident. Notably, the former AEW star revealed that he asked for Tony Khan's help with Jack Perry after Perry was quizzed by the Straight Edge Superstar about how he decided to take this action. Meanwhile, the RAW superstar went on to clarify that Samoa Joe witnessed everything that happened and that he grabbed somebody instead of punching anyone. Even though that tragic event happened almost a year ago, the wrestling industry is still conversing about it.
Jack came back from his match: CM Punk
"I went to Tony [Khan], and I was like, please handle that, please. He was like, ‘What do you want me to do?’ I was like, I’m not telling you what to do. Just be the boss, please.’ I’m tired of this shit.’ I told you this was a mistake, I told you separate shows wasn’t gonna work, and now we’re all here. Please, handle it. Because if you don’t, you’re not gonna like the way I handle it.," CM Punk said.
"Jack came back from his match. I was the best match. I’m sitting there. I got people with me. I have a lot of friends who work there, and I wish them all well. I walk up to him, and I’m just like Jack, why do you insist on doing this dumb internet shit on TV? I was just like, ‘Come on, man. I could fucking kill you. What are we doing?" he added further.
