Brodus Clay got his WrestleMania moment because John Cena decided to have a Toilet break. In one of the past interviews, the star wrestler recalled how the time his segment got cut and Cena had to fake a toilet break to ensure he got to execute his performance. Brodus was not the one who liked John getting unnecessary heat from the fans and decided to narrate the particular moment.

Clay was asked about John Cena being regarded as someone who destroyed the careers of many talented wrestlers. Brodus had a different view on it and disregarded the opinion. The former WWE Superstar said they were set to have a match with Heath Slater which got cancelled due to the time constraints. He said Cena being the top guy of the company did not have to do something he did. He claimed Vince was shaking his head as the match before the segment consumed a lot of time.

"We were supposed to have a match with Heath Slater but time got cut and Cena did one of the most selfless things that a guy, who’s the top guy, who doesn’t have to do things like this. He was in there and Vince was shaking his head," explained Brodus Clay.

The star wrestler added that for Cena to risk facing the wrath of an angry Vince McMahon showed what he was willing to do for his fellow stars. He said Vince was having a talk with Michael Hayes and one of the producers. Clay overheard that his event had to be cut due to time constraints.

"The match before — wasn’t one particular thing but they were heavy on time, they had gone over and he’s like, he was shaking his head, and I think he was talking to Michael Hayes and another one of the producers and he was like, ‘I think we’re gonna have to we have to cut it," added Clay in the interview.

'I got my WrestleMania moment because Cena had to go to the bathroom' - Brodus Clay

Brodus then said what Cena whispered in his ears. Clay said Cena was getting ready and signalled he would convince everyone that he wanted to go to the toilet. "Then all of a sudden, Cena was getting ready, he’s right behind me and he looks at me and goes, ‘I have to go to the bathroom," added Brodus.

Brodus was surprised to hear that asked what Cena was talking about. He said John claimed he would usually take about eight minutes for a bathroom break. When asked about the time he would need, Clay said he could get his performance done in six minutes. Brodus said Cena went out to the bathroom break which allowed him to get his WrestleMania moment.

"I went, 'What?' He’s like, 'I have to go to the bathroom. I don’t know, usually, I go to the bathroom I don’t know, what, eight minutes? Six minutes?' I was like, 'Six. I can get in six.' He’s like, 'Alright,' and he just walked out of Gorilla. So now I had to go. So I went and I got my WrestleMania moment because Cena had to go to the bathroom," added Brodus in the interview.
