Bianca Belair recently gave an update on her injury and a potential return date. The star wrestler confirmed that she had not just hurt her finger alone, but also suffered a knuckle injury during one of the spots at WrestleMania 41 during the triple-threat match against Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley for the world title.
Speaking in an interview on 106 & Sports, the EST of WWE felt her recovery would be straightforward, which could last for a few months. However, she was surprised that it had taken a lot more time for her to be cleared to wrestle.

"So I broke my knuckle, which is not my finger. I broke my knuckle, broke the joint. It's something that I thought was going to be a very straightforward, you know, eight to 12 weeks. It's been almost six months at this point, but it was WrestleMania. And I was in a triple threat with Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky, and we were going to the top rope," Belair said.

She added that Mami landed straight on her hand, which crushed her fingers and knuckles. While Bianca agreed that it has been a crazy journey so far, the star wrestler hoped to be back in action soon.

"We came off the top rope, and Rhea landed straight on my hand, and it just crushed everything in my finger.. So it's been a crazy journey. And, you know, being an athlete and having an injury, you rely on your body. And now my body's not doing what it's supposed to do. But, you know, I'm hoping I can be back in the ring soon," Belair added.
