Awesome Truth beat Finn Balor and JD McDonagh with some help from Braun Strowman

R Truth and The Miz successfully defended their title against JD McDonagh and Finn Balor. The Awesome Truth beat the Judgement Day with a bit of assistance from Braun Strowman. Last week on Raw, Finn and JD won the number one contender match with a bit of assistance from Carlito to take part in the title match. The Awesome Truth emerged victorious against the Judgement Day.

The match started with the domination from Judgement Day. The duo of Finn and McDonagh seemed good to claim a win. However, the Awesome Truth fought their way back in the match. Truth impersonated his inner John Cena and nearly won the match for his team. However, the interruption from Carlito meant that Judgement Day stayed alive in the match.

To even the odds, Braun Strowman came and chased JD. As McDonagh had no other option but to enter the ring, Truth delivered an AA to pin him and claim a win. The Awesome Truth retained their tag title. After the match, McDonagh was asked by Priest to have a talk with Adam Pearce to book a match against Strowman in the coming week on the red brand.

Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler to face tag team champions

Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler emerged victorious in the fatal 4-way tag team match. The duo beat the likes of Katana Chance and Kayden Carter, Damage Control's Kairi Sane, and Dakota Kai, and Maxxine Dupri and Ivy Nile to claim a major win. Though all wrestlers put on a good show and seemed equally deserving of a win, it was Zoey and Shayna who ended up claiming the win. 

Before the match backstage, Sonya Neville showed up in the arena for the first time in over 9 months. Her return went unnoticed by many. As Neville tried to have a bit of chat with Stark, Baszler stopped her from doing so. Given her past with Sonya, it was quite understandable. With the big win, Zoey and Shayna have a good chance of bringing the tag titles to Raw.
