Carlito had a shy look when Liv Morgan introduced Raquel Rodriguez to Judgement Day on WWE Raw. The experienced wrestler ended up not having an interaction with Raquel while others did. The fans jumped on the segment and wondered if the duo would be involved in a love angle in the upcoming weeks to make them more relevant than they already are.
Raquel returned to WWE Bad Blood and assisted Liv Morgan against Rhea Ripley. The star wrestler took out Mami and ensured that Liv retained her title. Last week on Smackdown, the Judgement Day duo of Liv and Dirty Dom showed up along with Raquel to address Queen Nia and Tiffy. They did not have a lot to do.
Raquel and Liv Morgan let Tiffy and Nia address the issue of Naomi. Before Naomi claimed a win over Tiffy via pinfall, Mami tried to attack both Nia and Liv. She was taken out by Raquel. On Raw, Liv and Raquel were called out by Mami for the same.
The need for a love angle between Carlito and Raquel Rodriquez
The duo did not show up before Mami and Tiffy had a bit of an interaction with each other. Raquel and Liv did show up and attacked Tiffy and Liv. There would be a tag team match between the duo later in the night. Amidst all the eventful segments, there could be a need for the love angle.
Carlito returned to WWE a year ago. However, he hasn't been able to do anything significant since his return. It might have forced the creative team to make him more relevant than he has been. The best way for it might be to have a love angle.
It might also be a way for Raquel to get involved in Judgement Day. Not to forget, Rodriguez herself has not been as appealing. To make both her and Carlito relevant, a love angle might not seem to be a bad decision. The only question would be the screen time after the reduction of an hour from Raw.
