A lack of a world title scenario led to bringing back the World Heavyweight Championship in 2023. AJ Styles and Seth Rollins qualified for the final which saw the latter beat former to win the title. Since then, there have been five other champions, most of whom have won the title since WrestleMania XL.
Barring Seth, five other wrestlers have won the World Heavyweight Championship since 2023. The title has become synonymous with the workhorse champions, as it's being defended often. Especially due to the work rate of the top champions, it has been a highly valued championship.
