'I'm different than the Great Khali' - AEW star Satnam Singh has this to say about The Great Khali, names his favorite wrestlers

Satnam Singh was in an interview where he spoke about the career path of him and other wrestlers from India. The AEW star claimed himself to be the biggest wrestler from India. He claimed to not compare himself to anyone and felt it was not right to compare others with him. Satnam felt he was different from the Great Khali.

"I'm really different from any other wrestlers from India. I have never seen in my life anyone bigger than me in wrestling from India. I'm not going to compare myself with anyone. And nobody can compare me to anyone. If anyone compared me to the Great Khali, I would say no. I'm more different than him," said Singh in the interview.

In 2021, there was a huge demand for Satnam who was about to make his Wrestling choice. WWE and AEW were interested in having him on their rosters. But he ended up choosing AEW over WWE. In 2022, Satnam made his AEW debut and has been a wrestler since then. It is worth noting that before joining wrestling, he was a Basketball star.

'I learned so many things from him' - Satnam Singh on Big Show

In 2015, the star player became the first Indian player to get drafted in the NBA. He was picked by the Dallas Mavericks. Despite not playing a game, Singh made a name for himself. When asked about his favourite wrestlers, Singh picked the name of The Rock. He also claimed to admire mighty wrestlers like Khali, Big Show, and Kane.

In the interview, Singh claimed that Khali was strong in the upper body but was not stronger in the lower half of his body. Satnam claimed having it in himself is an advantage. "When I saw Paul Wight, I said, 'Ok, this guy is really good. You know, he has lower body strength. His upper body is also strong and whatever he can do, I feel like I can do the same thing. Then I learned so many things from him," added Singh.
