5 most anticipated matches from WrestleMania 41 (Source: X)
WrestleMania 41 is set to span two nights on April 19 and 20 of 2025, respectively. Most of the matches have been announced and are advertised to take place on different nights. Some of the top stars of the company, like Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, John Cena, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, and others, will be a part of the event, which will take place in Las Vegas.
While the world title from both Raw and Smackdown from the men's and women's divisions will be on the line, there are other titles which go on the line, along with some non-title matches. Not all matches have piqued interest among the fans. While some are highly anticipated, others have not garnered as much attention due to the lack of storytelling and poor execution.

5 most anticipated matches from WrestleMania 41
5. Naomi vs Jade Cargill
Naomi and Jade Cargill will hope to settle deals against each other at WrestleMania 41. At the Elimination Chamber, Cargill returned and attacked Naomi, which shocked everyone. On Smackdown after the Chamber, Naomi accepted that she was indeed the one behind the attack on Jade before the Survivor Series.
Bianca Belair did not like the fact and hence cut her friendship with Naomi. Since then, Cargill and the former tag team champion have been having a brawl against each other almost every week. The story and execution of their feud have been brilliant so far. If Cargill can step up in the ring, it can lead to a memorable WrestleMania match.
4. Iyo Sky (C) vs Bianca Belair vs Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Championship
Iyo Sky beat Rhea Ripley in the main event of WWE Raw to win the world title. As Rhea was indirectly responsible for costing an Elimination Chamber spot to the star wrestler, the match took place, which had a twist. Bianca, the Women's Chamber winner, was in attendance and cheered both stars in the commentary box.
Mami did not like it and was distracted, which helped Iyo to claim the title. In the rematch, Bianca was the guest referee and had to take kicks and blows from both Sky and Ripley. The EST of WWE disqualified the match, which meant the Triple-Threat WrestleMania match became a reality. Given the star power, this match could be awesome.
3. Gunther (C) vs Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship
Jey Uso won the Men's Royal Rumble 2025 and chose Gunther as his WrestleMania opponent. For the first few weeks, the Ring General went easy on Jey, casually beating wrestlers like Axiom and Akira Tozawa, before taking the terms into his own hands. Gunther created bloodshed on Jimmy Uso with Jey's hands tied.
Jey never felt as helpless in his career and vowed to give it back to the Ring General at Mania. Till then, their feud seemed mostly avoidable. However, the segment heated the rivalry and became one not to miss at any cost. Gunther's wrestling skills will be the key to the match. If Jey can emote his inner love for Jimmy, it can be a great match.
2. Roman Reigns vs CM Punk vs Seth Rollins in the Main Event of Night 1
Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins were eliminated from the Men's Royal Rumble by CM Punk, which led to Seth attacking both the OTC and the Second City Saint. Later at the Elimination Chamber, Rollins cost Punk, which led to their Steel Cage match on WWE Raw. Seth claimed a win as Roman pulled him out of the structure and launched a brutal attack.
He further speared Punk and increased the tensions between him, Punk, and the Wiseman. In the following weeks, Punk cashed in his favour and asked Paul Heyman to be on his side during their triple-threat match at Mania. On WWE Raw last week, Seth saved Heyman from a stomp, which led to the former owing the latter. Their dynamics could make the main event of Night 1 a must-watch.
1. Cody Rhodes (C) vs John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the Main Event of Night 2
John Cena won the Elimination Chamber 2025 and turned against Cody Rhodes. As Cena sold his soul to The Rock and is yet to let everyone know of his relationship with The Final Boss, he claimed the reason behind his stand was the toxic relationship he had with the fans. In the following weeks, Cena and Cody went back and forth with good promos.
A couple of weeks ago on WWE Raw, Rhodes delivered a Cross Rhodes to Cena and had the last laugh. Later this week on Smackdown, Cena will show up and could nail the final arc to their feud, which could also have a mention of the Final Boss. It is easily the most anticipated match of Mania 41 due to it being Cena's last match in the show of all shows.
