The 'Money in the Bank' has witnessed some great moments since its inception in 2005. After initially being a part of WrestleMania, it became a special PLE itself in 2010 and has remained so since then. In 2018, the first-ever women's Money in the Bank ladder match took place. Some of the winners went on to have successful cash-ins for different titles. A few could not cash in their titles against the champions.

Damian Priest 

Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania XL. During the process, he became the second wrestler to do so at Mania after Seth Rollins. It could not happen before failing in a lot of instances to cash in his contract. Damian finally overcame his struggles and cashed in his briefcase against McIntyre. It happened 5 minutes after Drew won the title at WrestleMania against the visionary.

CM Punk

CM Punk cashed in his second Money in the Bank title against Edge. He became the first and only wrestler to date to win two world titles after cashing in the contract. In the first instance, he did so against Jeff Hardy. But the one against Edge was special, as the crowd was behind him against the heel wrestler. The timing of the cash-in was brilliant, as he overcame the 'duplicate Edge' in Zack Ryder and co to win the world title. 

Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler cashed in his 'Money in the Bank' contract against Alberto Del Rio. It was a brilliant moment, as the fans wished to see the talented wrestler to be a world champion. He could not get the job done in the previous instances. The frustration in the fans and the star was visible. When he eventually won the Money in the Bank contract, the fans expected him to finally break the jinx, and he did so to win the world title. 

Edge

Edge was the inaugural winner of the briefcase. Back then, the contract was a part of WrestleMania. The Rated R Superstar won the briefcase. Back then, nobody knew the importance of the briefcase. The top heel of the company elevated the value of the contract without wasting any time, as he cashed in against the world champion of the time, John Cena. The fans were shocked with the impact of a contract and loved the idea.

Seth Rollins

In the history of WWE, Seth Rollins had the greatest Money in the Bank cash-in. The former member of the Shield was the first to pull off a cash-in at WrestleMania. In 2015, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns were competing in the main event of the night for the world title. The fans wanted neither Brock nor Roman to win the match. Their wish came true, as Seth came, cashed-in, won the match and conquered the title to complete the heist of the century.
