Yuki Bhambri entered his first-ever Grand Slam semifinal in the Men's Doubles event at the US Open 2025. Along with Michael Venus, Bhambri overcame Rajeev Ram and Nikola Mektic 6-3, 6-7(8), 6-3 in the Quarterfinals. Bhambri and Venus will face the Great Britain's Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski in their Semifinal match at the Louis Armstrong Stadium.
Bhambri and Venus delivered a very good performance against a better ranked team. In the first set, they had a lead of 6-3 and continued the momentum even in the second set. However, Ram and Mektic came back well and forced a tiebreaker. The set was closely fought and was won 6-7(8) by Ram and Mektic.
The third set hence became a decider. Bhambri and Venus performed well in the deciding set and claimed it 6-3 to win the match. In the process, they qualified for the semifinal, where they will face the 6th-seeded Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski at the Louis Armstrong Stadium.

Bhambri and Venus have been very good in the US Open 2025, so far. In the Round of 64 match, they overcame Marcos Giron and Learner Tien 6-0, 6-3 in the straight sets. In the Round of 32, the duo beat Gonzalo Escobar and Miguel Rayes-Varela 6-1, 7-5 without dropping a set.

In the Round of 16 match, Bhambri and Venus overcame the odds against the fourth-seeded Tim Putz and Kevin Krawietz with a win of 6-4, 6-4 in the straight sets. In the Quarterfinals, the Indo-Kiwi duo beat Ram and Mektic, where they dropped their first set of the tournament. It has been Bhambri's best performance in a Grand Slam tournament.
