' Yes, astonishing'- Judy Murray on Emma Raducanu pulling out of mixed doubles with Andy Murray

The Wimbledon is still going on and there were plenty of big players in the setup that are trying to make a comeback into this Grand Slam event. One of the players we were looking forward to in this season was Andy Murray, who is one of the biggest legends on Wimbledon right now and everyone was looking forward to him playing his last game of the tournament.

Andy Murray has won the tournament 2 times and is one of the legendary figures in the game of Tennis who was playing his last tournament this season. Murray might have pulled out of the singles, but he was still going to make an appearance in Wimbledon in doubles. Murray had already played a doubles match with his brother  Jamie Murray which the duo unfortunately lost. There was still hope for the former World number one in the mixed doubles as he was preparing for a mixed doubles game with Emma Raducanu who unfortunately withdrew due to a wrist injury.

Judy Murray reacts to the news

The withdrawal from Emma Raducanu due to a wrist injury has led to the great Andy Murray to miss out on what could have been his last chance to stay in the tournament as well. This was not the ending we needed for the great man. Even Andy Murray's mother and former coach Judy Murray had a say on this matter as well. Unlike other individuals, Judy just had two words to say on the matter saying " Yes, astonishing". This was enough to show her disappointment in the situation at hand.

Though we have missed out on what could be a great farewell for Murray, but the people will still want to see Emma Raducanu continue her great performance this season. The former US Open champion is set to play her fourth-round game against Lulu Sun and will be looking to get to her first playoff game in Women's singles. We hope she can still continue in this tournament.
