WTA signs multi year deal with Saudi investment fund PIF for growth of Women's tennis

There is no doubt that the ATP has given us some of the most legendary players in the business who have gone on to get worldwide recognition. However, The WTA scene is not far, but the Women's tennis scene is rapidly growing with several talented players rising to fame. There have been a lot of iconic players who have gone on to have glorifying careers in the sport as well.

It is safe to say that the WTA (Women's Tennis Association) has been making big strides in recent years and we are happy to see it grow with a lot of incredible talents and great players. There have been a lot of popular players whom many people look up to even today. The talent of Elena Rybakina, Aryna Sabalenka, and Iga Swiatek have given exceptional performances and have contributed to the growth and competition in the WTA tour itself.

WTA deals with the Saudi

There is no doubt that there will be many talented players that will come into the Women's Tennis scene, but it is also important to look after the business part of the deal. The WTA has recently signed a multi-year deal with PIF, a Saud Arabian investment fund. This move, according to the WTA, will help the growth of Women's Professional Tennis to make it a worldwide sensation.

With this deal, the CEO of the WTA, Marina Storti made another statement supporting the deal saying, "We look forward to sharing the journey of our talented players across the season, as we continue to grow the sport, creating more fans of tennis and inspiring more young people to take up the game.” There still might be some professionals that would oppose this, but we still have to wait and watch on how this deal will work in the future with these Saudi Arabian business giants.
