WTA World number 1 Iga Swiatek parts ways from her longtime coach Tomasz Wiktorowski after three years. The Polish Superstar to make plans for her future in the rest of the tournaments this year and the upcoming season as well. This is a big decision made by Swiatek just before the end of 2024 where she is splitting with her coach under who she has enjoyed a lot of success. 

The emergence of Iga Swiatek in the tennis world has made her a name to be remembered by everyone and has no doubt been one of the best performers of the year with 5 titles and a record of 54/7 in 2024. The Polish star has been training under fellow Polish compatriot Tomasz Wiktorowski under who she has enjoyed some of her most successful campaigns and also became the World number 1 for the first time.

Swiatek's heartfelt message after splitting with Tomasz

Though the people were shocked at the decision from Swiatek it turns out there is no beef between Swiatek and Tomasz with Swiatek putting out a heartfelt post on social media saying, "After three years of the greatest achievement of my career, together with my coach Tomasz Wiktorowski we decided to part ways. I want to start with a big thank you and appreciation for our work together. Coach Wiktorowski joined my team for 3 seasons when I strongly needed changes and a fresh approach to my game."

Swiatek also thanked her coach in the end for the wonderful journey she shared with him as well further adding to the statement, "Coach, THANK YOU, I wish you all the best. I know that you would like to rest after these 3 years of hard work and traveling a lot and spend some well-deserved time with your loved ones and I hope you’ll get what you need." This shows that the decision was made on good terms, but the fans will be eager to know who will be coaching the 5-time Grand Slam winner in the future.
