Tennis sensation Jack Draper has been making bold headlines with his performance in the Indian Wells Masters 1000 tournament. The British star defeated two-time defending champion Carlos Alcaraz in the epic three-setter Indian Wells 2025 semi-final clash and stormed to the final thriller. The 23-year-old star won the game with a scoreline of 6-1, 0-6, 6-4.

The 21-year-old star had not dropped a set before making it to the semi-final thriller, but the British star broke with a double fault in the second game, where Carlos Alcaraz lost his momentum. Draper then converted on another break.

However, the four-time Grand Slam winner staged his stellar comeback in the second set of the game, where Draper put up 15 unforced errors in the game as compared to just two unforced errors in the first set of the game. Meanwhile, Draper seemed ready to go the distance and hit some outrageous shots, exhausting points to convert break points in the third set to thwart Alcaraz from the marquee event.

Meanwhile, Jack Draper was ecstatic after storming into the final showdown. The 23-year-old sensation highlighted how his lead in the first set had helped him in the second set. The British star further talked about his tactical skill and the pragmatic approach he used in the third set.

“It was a strange match. Carlos came out.. He was a bit flat. The first set went quickly. I had a chance in the first game of the second. He came out with an ace. It kind of happened to me; what happened to him In the first set. I got tight. I got low energy. Against the top players in the world, they can change their momentum very quickly. I just got lost out there for twenty five minutes. In the third I came out, I was very proud of my competitiveness and my attitude. Somehow managed to get over the line in the end," Jack Draper said after the loss.
