The star player hasn't won the Grand Slam titles since 2024, and their performance has been a mixed bag. The star player did make it to the semi-finals of the Australian Open 2025 but suffered a first-round exit in the Qatar Open and Indian Wells.

Thereafter, he made it to the Miami Open 2025 finals but lost against Jakub Mensik. The 24-time Grand Slam winner then crashed out in the opening round in the Monte Carlo Masters and Mutua Madrid Open before pulling out from the Italian Open 2025. The star player has finally achieved a win at the Geneva Open 2025, where he won his 100th ATP title ahead of the second Grand Slam of the year.

After winning the Geneva Open 2025 title and the first round in Paris, Novak Djokovic stated that he feels confident after winning his 100th ATP title. He states that he has positive feelings about his game and has a high ambition to reach the best possible result.

"I actually was considering winning a 25th Grand Slam before, so it hasn't changed much, but it's true that after the Geneva title, I feel more confident.
