Tennis sensation Aryna Sabalenka has advanced to the quarter-finals of the Indian Wells 2025 after a stellar victory over Sonay Kartal by 6-1, 6-2 in the fourth round of the tournament. The world number one is now set to face Liudmila Samsonova in the last eight rounds, slated to take place on March 14, Thursday.
Coming to the game dynamics, the Belarusian had a great start to the play and showcased his dominant form after taking an early lead in the game. The 26-year-old then produced absurd shots and earned exhausting points to grab the straight-set win to thwart her opponent in the marquee event.
Aryna Sabalenka has been in red-hot form and seems to be one of the top WTA stars to win the title here. She had a great start to 2025 after winning the Brisbane International title. However, Sabalenka lost to Madison Keys in the Australian Open 2025 final and failed to lift the trophy. Meanwhile, the 26-year-old star player has a great chance to grab this WTA 1000 Masters title here.

Sabalenka opened up about her experience of pairing up with Andre Agassi
Meanwhile, Sabalenka has recently opened up about her experience pairing up with legendary player Andre Agassi at the MGM Rewards Slam, held at Bay Resort and Casino. The 2025 Australian Open runner-up shared her thoughts about the eight-time Grand Slam winner.
"We had really great chat, he gave me his advice on tennis which actually working so, thank you Andre. He's such a nice guy and he is timing his tennis is still ready good, and I was really impressed by his timing and he was like, "Oh I am not training that much, I am not playing tennis" and then he serves, and his serve is better than mine. I'm like the timing, I was like okay, I think we are doing something wrong. But it was fun playing that exhibition especially like playing with Andre it was fun," Aryna Sabalenka said.
