One year has passed, and tennis stalwart Venus Williams has kept fans from her magnificent performances on the court. The American sensation has been teasing the tennis fraternity about her potential comeback even at the age of 44.
The star player had earlier carefully received a wildcard for the Indian Wells Masters after the marquee event aired the announcement. However, the happiness in the tennis world faded when she clarified that she wasn't playing anymore owing to her other commitments.
Surprisingly, tennis fans have witnessed Venus Williams appear at the practice session ahead of the Miami Open 2025 in Florida. Interestingly, the California-born star played her last game at the Masters 1000 event, where she suffered a loss against Diana Shnaider in the first round.
Venus Williams was seen alongside star player Ons Jabeur on the court. Fans were so ecstatic after seeing her return, which made them wonder about her comeback and potential doubles with Jabeur. The video of the two tennis stars enjoying the bright Miami sun has widely been shared on social media, with fans aiming for William's return for some action on the court.

Ons Jabeur lauds Venus Williams's legacy!
Meanwhile, Ons Jabeur has hailed Venus Williams's legacy and called her inspirational alongside her sister, Serena Williams. The 30-year-old star player highlights how Williams's legacy pushed her game to take it to the epitome of the level.
“She’s amazing. I had breakfast with her a couple of times. She’s really an inspiration in what she did for women’s tennis, winning all of those Grand Slams, along with her sister. I am targeting March, that’s when the tournaments go back to the States, so my goal is to be up and running when tournaments come back to the US. I tried my best to recover for the US Open. I did not reach my form, so now I am just resting until I get back,” Ons Jabeur had said of Venus.
