The biggest highlight of the game was Tommy’s no-look shot against Brooksby. After losing the first set against Jenson, Paul was desperate to win the second set to stay in the game. So he brought his A-game and moved incredibly well on the courts. After winning the first game, Paul was on the verge of winning the second with 40-0. In a rally lasting nearly a minute, Tommy Paul was drawn to the net by Jenson Brooksby. Seizing the opportunity, Brooksby executed a smart lob over Paul's head.

Tommy did the extraordinary thing by sprinting back, reaching the ball and hitting a no-look, over-the-shoulder passing shot. Jenson had no answers as he looked at the ball swinging in the air and became a point. But Jenson quickly responded with appreciation, which the entire crowd actually did after seeing the heroics from Paul.

The Shot has officially become the prime contender for ‘The Tennis Shot of 2025’. Fans were left impressed by Paul’s incredible ability to convert the impossible shot into a point. He won the remaining two sets against Brooksby and will now face Ethan Quinn in the quarter-finals.

Paul is the defending champion of the Dallas Open, as he comes fresh from the Australian Open 2025. Tommy lost the match against the finalist, Alexander Zverev, and exited the tournament. But despite losing his 2025 Tennis record is still six wins out of 8 games. If he wins this year he will receive 500 points and more than 2 million euro as cash.
