There have been a lot of legendary players in tennis who everyone has looked up to for generation. Thought we all know that American tennis is not leading the charts anymore, there was a time where there were great players in the USA that we all have been looking up to for a long time. There was a time where American tennis was leagues above everyone creating some of the best players to ever grace the court. We will be talking about one of these big players.

The man who has not only been leading American tennis but the whole tennis world itself is Pistol Pete Sampras who was an icon during the 90's. With 14 Grand Slam titles and 64 career titles there is no doubt that he was one of the legendary figures in the game who had risen through the ranks.Sampras was one of those all round players who had a powerfull serve and always had a trick up his sleeve. This is what made him a worldwide sensation that we remember even today.
