WATCH: Tennis stars Ben Shelton, Jessica Pegula and Emma Navaro select Christmas presents for their peers

As the festive season draws near, tennis players are gearing up for Christmas celebrations. Jessica Pegula and Ben Shelton recently shared their ideas for thoughtful gifts for their fellow tennis friends.

Shelton came up with several considerate gift suggestions for his American teammates. However, he found it more challenging to decide on a suitable present for the Swiss tennis legend.

Shelton lists his Christmas gifts 

Shelton has been hard at work, preparing for the 2025 season with a highly anticipated exhibition match against Carlos Alcaraz at Madison Square Garden. As Christmas approaches, the World No. 21 was taking a moment to think about ideal holiday gifts for some of his fellow tennis players.

Recognizing Taylor Fritz's enthusiasm for gaming, Ben Shelton stated he would choose a high-quality mouse or keyboard to enhance his compatriot's setup.

"I would give him either like a mouse or a keyboard for his gaming setup," Shelton said.

When discussing Roger Federer, the American expressed that he was at a loss for gift ideas, humorously commenting that the 20-time Grand Slam champion already possesses everything he could need.

"I don't know, I feel like he has everything. I don't really know him like that," he said.

As for Frances Tiafoe, Ben Shelton confidently stated that he would present his fellow American with a certificate for dinner with a celebrity.

"He needs a lot of things. I'd probably get him like a certificate for a dinner with a celebrity. I don't know who it would be because I feel like he's friends with and has met everybody but I'd find a celebrity to go to dinner with him," he said.

Jessica Pegula also lists her Christmas presents 

Jessica Pegula recently shared her thoughts on the gifts she would like to give her fellow Americans: Coco Gauff, Madison Keys, and Ben Shelton. Recognizing Gauff's love for anime, Pegula mentioned in an interview with the Tennis Channel that she would choose an anime-themed gift for her this Christmas.

"I don't know I just think of her, like, anime. And I don't really know Anime. But maybe something Anime themed, that would be cool," she said.

Talking about Ben Shelton, she said

"I don't know maybe I'll get him like Bills (Buffalo). Something from the Bills. I don't know, I feel like he would appreciate that."

"Something for her home interior, design, hobby, that's she loves to do something for her new house," she added.
