The tournament is an ATP 500 event so many star players arrived for the event. The winner gets a prize of $483,515 and the runner gets $260,150. Semifinalists get 138,645 and quarterfinalists get $70,830. Top ATP seeds like Alexander Zverev, Casper Rudd, Tommy Paul, Holger Rune, Ben Shelton, and Frances Tiafoe are playing in the tournament.

Acapulco ATP 500 will be followed by the big event 2025 Indian Wells, which is coming under the ATP Masters 1000 category. These tournaments will help them receive huge prize money and help them move up the rankings. The Round of 32 has already started and Casper Rudd, Tommy Paul, Ben Shelton, Learner Tien, and Tomas Machac have already won the match and moved on to the next. Today is day 4 and Nuno Norges has already defeated top seed Arthur Fils in the round of 32.
