Tennis sensation Stefanos Tsitsipas defeated Matteo Berrettini 6-3, 6-3 in the third round of the Indian Wells 2025. The Greek star showcased his dominance since the first set of the game, taking an early lead in the clash.
The 26-year-old star player continued his magnificent form in the second set, executing great rallies and forehand and backhand volley shots to mark a straight-sets win in the marquee event.

Tsitsipas is now set to face Danish star Holger Rune in the pre-quarters of the Indian Wells. Rune defeated Ugo Humbert despite losing the first set in Round 32 of the tournament. This forthcoming clash promises to be a fierce one between two tennis superstars who will be fighting for a quarter-final spot.

Tsitsipas' struggling journey of 2025!
Notably, Tsitsipas didn't have a great start to the year as he suffered defeat in the first round of the Australian Open 2025 when young player Alex Michelson knocked him out. Following that, the star player made it to the quarter-finals of the ABN AMRO Open in Rotterdam.
The Greek star also reached the Round of 32 of the Qatar Open 2025. However, the star player kept continuing his hard work and recently won the Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Championships 2025 last month. The Greek star will be looking to maintain his dominating momentum in the ongoing marquee event to showcase that he is one of the formidable players on the ATP tours.
