However, Boulter staged her comeback in the second set, but the Kazakh star kept her resilience in the game and marked the straight-set win to storm into the pre-quarter-finals of the marquee event.

Rybakina to face Mirra Andreeva in the pre-quarterfinals of the Indian Wells 2025

Meanwhile, Elena Rybakina is set to serve the big challenge in the next game, where she will be facing 18-year-old Mirra Andreeva in Round 16. Andreeeva has recently defeated Rybakina in the semi-finals of the Dubai Dubai Free Tennis Championships 2025. This clash promises to be one of the best encounters in the marquee event.

During an interview with the star, Elena was questioned saying, “When there’s not enough energy coming from your end, how do you change it?" To this, Elena replied, “You push yourself. You have your box trying to give you energy. You just need to fight. Somehow in the end you’ll find your game. Thank you guys. Of course I enjoy. When I won the title in 2023, the crowd was amazing.”
