During the 2024 Laver Cup black carpet event, Roger Federer recreated his iconic bow-straightening moment, this time with Carlos Alcaraz. Alcaraz, making his debut appearance at the tournament, was seen with Federer, who has claimed the Laver Cup title three times.

Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal, who has been part of two title-winning campaigns with Team Europe, was also present at the event. As a member of the Spaniard's team attempted to fix Alcaraz's bow tie, Federer stepped in to help, resulting in a lighthearted moment that left the 21-year-old laughing out loud.

A Dream Come True for Carlos Alcarez

Two years ago, Carlos Alcaraz was deeply affected by Roger Federer's retirement at the Laver Cup. In 2024, the Spaniard is now relishing every moment, sharing laughter with the Swiss legend. This year, making his debut as one of Team Europe’s stars, Alcaraz’s Laver Cup journey has truly come full circle.

As the Swiss icon savoured his final moments on the court, the then-19-year-old Alcaraz was posting heartfelt updates on his X (formerly Twitter) account. In several posts, he used heartbreak and crying emojis while expressing gratitude to Federer for his immense contribution to the sport.

Carlos Alcaraz is now enjoying casual moments with the 43-year-old at the Laver Cup. In a touching moment, Federer was even seen adjusting Alcaraz's bowtie.
