WATCH: Roger Federer praises Carlos Alcaraz in a recent interview

It has been an entertaining season of tennis so far and we all have enjoyed watching these matches and there is no doubt that there will be a lot of celebrities and legendary figures in the game who have also had a great experience. This has been a tournament full of surprises and iconic matches that we will never forget in the future as well. 

One of the stars of the seasons without a doubt was Carlos Alcaraz, who had made an epic comeback in this tournament after missing out on most of the Clay Season due to injury. The Spaniard has already got 3 Grand Slams to his name and has won them on every surface at the age of just 21 and he seems to have a great future going forward in the game. It is safe to say that this was also one of the best performances of the season.

Federer praises Alcaraz

One of the biggest legends of the game we all have cherished and loved is Roger Federer. The Swiss Maestro who is now retired from the game was seen in a recent interview discussing how much he has enjoyed this season. Through the interview, it looked like he was still following the game and was enjoying every game, especially the French Open. Towards the end of the interview, he also went on to praise Alcaraz for his performance as well and give him words of encouragement going forward.

The words of encouragement and praise by the 20-time Grand Slam winner show us why the 21-year-old Spaniard is a big deal in the sporting world right now. The words of Roger Federer are something which should give Alcaraz a lot of confidence and we hope  he keeps getting better every season.
