The World of Tennis had a very big development in the early 2000s as there was a rivalry that took the world by storm. It all started with Roger Federer dominating the game completely with his grace and athleticism on the court, only to be up against the spirit of Rafael Nadal. This went on to be one of the biggest rivalries in the game which went on to break several records throughout the years.

There was then the start of the career of Novak Djokovic, who suddenly entered the frame and started his dominance over these two certified legends. It was then these three were known as the Holy Trinity who went on to become the legends of the game in the long run. This started an era of tennis filled with some iconic matches that we all have witnessed and enjoyed watching. This was the era that marked the battle between the three big warriors of tennis.

Federer's views on Djokovic

There is no doubt that there will always be a debate on who is the best among the three legends, but the main thing that has always baffled us is why people have so much love for Nadal and Federer and to some extent tend to sideline the achievements of Djokovic despite his brilliant achievements in the game, to this Roger Federer had given his views on the Serbian Powerhouse stating that he never gave him the respect in the start of his career due to his flaws, but saw Djokovic learn from his mistakes and come back stronger in the game. 

Regarding the personality of Djokovic the Swiss Maestro gave us a brief saying that his passionate and outgoing personality along with his focus had somewhat scared some fans away. In the end, Federer ends his statement by saying " I think he’s been a little bit misunderstood. I look past the media and I see at the end the man he is." This shows that even though some people do not always support the Serbian, Federer still has huge respect for him as a player and a rival.
