The Paris Olympics has had some great matches so far and there are still a lot of great matches to watch out for in this global event especially in the sport of tennis. The game we all were looking forward to was the match between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. This was the continuation of one of the biggest rivalries we have ever seen in the game of tennis and we all have enjoyed watching these two battle it out in the past as well. This is the match where all of us were hyped to see both the legends play for the 60th time.

This match overall belonged to Novak Djokovic who without a doubt had got the better of Nadal from the first set itself. However, we still saw some great moments from the King of Clay who tried his best to comeback in the match. Unfortunately it is the Serbian who came out on top winning the game in two straight sets. There were glimpses of brilliance from Rafael Nadal, but unfortunately it was not enough to beat his longstanding rival in Djokovic who qualified for the third round of the Olympics.

The Jaw dropping point from El Nino

There is no doubt that this match belonged entirely to the 24-time Grand Slam winner, but that does not mean we never saw some great highlights from the Spaniard as well. In fact there was a moment in the game where Nadal made a comeback in the second set and made it 4-4. To achieve this Nadal had broken Djokovic service with this jaw dropping point which for a while gave him a chance in this match. This was brilliant rally between the two and it was a great point won by Nadal. This was one of the moments that got all Rafa fans cheering as well.

This was one of the greatest forehands from Nadal that almost got him back in the game. Even though Djokovic went on to win the set 6-4 in the end, we cannot ignore the fact that this was one of the greatest winners we have ever seen from King of clay. This would still be one of the best highlights of this Olympic game even though it did not end in a victory for the Spaniard.
